  4. When pouring in your milk DON'T just dump it in. Pour and whisk at about the same speed, try to incorporate the milk and sausage/flour before adding more. Add enough milk for what you need, sometimes I don't need a huge batch sometimes I do. If you find it is getting to thick to fast pour your milk a bit faster, but not fast enough that you end up with clumps..
  5. After you have whisked in your milk add salt and pepper to taste and let it sit and cook for a few minutes..
  6. Split your biscuits in half, spread butter on each side and top with your gravy..
